Partial Resumption of Regular Classes

The emergency declaration has been lifted, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has decided to ease its request for the closure of classes to Step 2, effective June 1.   2. The layout of desks in the classrooms has been changed to prevent students from facing each other.
  3. The ventilation system in each classroom used for classes was rechecked and improved.
  4. Disinfectant solution has been installed in each classroom to sanitize hands when students enter.
  5. Both teachers and students are required to wear masks to class.
  6. Students are required to take their body temperature before going to school, and if the temperature exceeds 37°C, students are asked to stay home.
